 Though it's still pretty new to her she kind of got excited about Santa once she found out what he left for her.

I mean how many people would be this excited about a new baby carrier!?!?!

Decorating the Christmas Tree

It's my job to put the lights on the Christmas tree. Growing up, we always had this special kind of tree. I can't remember what the variety is actually called but it's not a full tree. And it wasn't decorated fancy. It had colored lights and was full of completely random ornaments that my parents gifted to us every year. When I got married, I inherited all those ornaments and as such decided I would have the same kind of tree. My dad always wrapped just about every branch and I helped him out. Jared refused to put that much work into a Christmas tree (scrooge) so it's my job to get it done.

 Wyatt was by my side to help me this year.

Decorating the Tree

Time has flown since last Christmas. It was fun to see the pictures I took of her and Jared decorating the tree and to see how much Annie has grown since then.

She was very good decorating the tree with us. She knew exactly which decorations were her's and which ones not to touch.

You can see her ornament from this year just to the left of her ear. She knew that it was hers and if you asked her to show it to you she would run right to it and say jing jing jing (jingle, jingle, jingle)

I couldn't have been happier this Christmas. The ornament I bought her this year was covered in little jingle bells so she was really only interested in that one ornament. She didn't touch any of the others. I thought for sure, I'd have the half decorated tree. Such a sweetheart!
