Logan Holiday Gift Show

So I mentioned this show in a previous post but realized I never really posted about it.

The Booth

Items sold included: brain squeezers (baby headbands, top left), diaper changing pads (bottom left), binky clips, watch faces, watch bands, mini baby clips

But I probably won't be doing it again...

This was my first ever show. And I did make some money but it was pretty slow going and the products I make tend to make people say "What a great idea, I'm totally going to make that". Honestly? I'll save you the trouble if you would just buy it ;)

I've come to realize that I love to make the products but selling them in person is just not my thing. The amount of inventory I had to make was quite a lot of work and with Jared working full time I came to realize just how fortunate I am that Annie naps 3 hours a day. But my home was quite neglected as was my family. So for now, I'm sticking to Etsy but I'm more than happy to do custom orders. Just hop on over to my site :)

Happy Birthday Mal!!!

Ok so I know your birthday was over three weeks ago but I told you if this was your request, it would be awhile. It turned out amazing...it's on it's way!

My latest craft project was taught to me by our local bead store (Beadles if you didn't know) and I was so excited to do these. They look really complicated but didn't take me long at all. I did the green and pink one one the airplane and at the airport. And the pearl one I just did in my spare time (which I don't have). My sister in law just barely had her little girl and has a big time crush on lime green anything. I figured I wouldn't ever get the chance to make something lime green, so in leau of the new born I made her this green bracelet.

Now my brother and sister already have a little girl that is 7 years old. I wanted to make sure that she knew she wasn't being forgot with this new baby being born. So the result is this pink bracelet which was way fun because I got to use a lot of "princess" sparkly beads.

This last bracelet was the one I actually started with and learned how to make these...not suprising it was the last one to be finished.
