Memorial Day

Jared decided we needed to make an effort to do something on his day off for Memorial Day so we decided (even though there were tons of wild fires burning all around the state of Utah) we were going to go have a quick fire and roast hot dogs for lunch.

A trip up Bountiful is never done without something happening...yes folks, Jared is stuck, and yes, that Jeep with a wench just happened to be driving past and was able to pull us out. I was laughing the whole time. His trailer hitch high jacked his back tires off the ground.

Once we got past the shenanigans,  we found a better spot and built ourselves a little fire. Annie is truly of her father's blood. She just loves camping and being in the mountains.

This, my friends, is how you really enjoy a hot dog.

Dad teaching Annie how to safely warm her hands by a fire...

"I'll help you Daddy"

LOVE when I manage to capture moments like this...it just makes my heart melt.
While we were in Bountiful, we decided to pick some flowers on our way down from the mountain and stop by Grandma's grave.

I've never been to a cemetery on Memorial Day and it was so amazing. Flowers as far as the eye can see. It was such a beautiful and moving sight to see how much people truly care for their loved ones.

Success!!!
