I Challenge You!

So I saw this on Tip Junkie probably about 3 or 4 months ago and thought it would be a really easy and fun way to get in some extra scripture reading in lieu of the Holidays. The idea is that you read a passage of scripture every day during the month of December that focuses on the Savior's life. There's two versions, one that's just the Bible and another that's just the Book of Mormon. Feel free to take your pick, I'm doing both since there are only a few scriptures. This would be a great family tradition to do with your kids. Mine is a bit young to understand but Jared and I are doing it and I might just add this to my list of Christmas Traditions :)

Just a side note. I decided to read the scriptures on lds.org today when I did this just because I was being lazy and didn't want to go into my bedroom to grab my scriptures and holy cow! You ought to check it out. You can actually make notes and highlight the scriptures right on your computer. If you already knew this, don't make fun. It's been quite a long time since I've read the scriptures online and I had no idea they had that kind of feature. It probably links up with your iPhone or Blackberry if you're one of those cool people that own one but I don't so I was quite impressed! What a techno-savvy church I'm a part of.
