Baby Bib For Charlie

Ok this was a first for me...they make these way cute receiving blankets, burp rags, and bibs out here in UT. They pick out fabric, have it hemstitched around the edges and then crochet pretty edges around it. For my conference project this last conference I decided to give it a go. I don't have a baby but I do have quite a few to give gifts to in my family. I saw this SUPER CUTE pattern at a local fabric store and decided my niece Charlotte needed it ;)

There are much cuter edges than what I did around this one but decided since it was going to have food and gooeyness on it, it shouldn't have intricate designs that could potentially trap food. Let's not make it harder to clean up than it already is.

Here's an up close of the stitch I did. I just single crocheted around once, then double crocheted, then single crochet again. What a fun craft...and it only took one session to complete too!
