HEAVEN'S NO! And I mean that in a good way. Who knew working full time leaves NO time to decorate for Christmas. Someone should have warned me. It's December 4th and this is all I've done...
Atleast it's one of the important pieces. I asked for this nativity set for Christmas last year and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! This was the first nativity set that I've see where Mary is cradling Christ in her arms. It still focus' on the birth of Christ but also brings in the tenderness of a mother's love to her child because heaven only knows what kind of burden she had on her shoulders.
Jared and I are hoping to get our tree, decorate the house (inside and out!), and send out our Christmas cards by this weekend so look out for more pictures to come!
Also, since Christmas is my very FAVORITE season, I have been up to lots of crafting so check out my other blog for those.
I love this nativity. I keep hoping one year I'll be able to add this one to my collection. BTW, I thought you would have gotten the hint about how crazy working and being a wife or Mom is by taking a couple cues from my life:) Time, there's not time for the things you really want/should do, they're spent at work. Bummer. I feel your pain!
