Holy Snow in OCTOBER!!

So we heard that it was going to snow this weekend but usually in October we see it spit snow and then it's gone before you wake up...this is what we woke up to this morning!

Needless to say, even though it's pretty darn cold outside, I was excited to see the neighborhood kids building snowmen and playing out in the snow. This is why I love winter...hot chocolate anyone?

  1. You have more snow then we do up here. We have a tiny bit but can still see the grass. How are things going?

  2. I think this snow thing in the middle of October is ridiculous. It was not fun to wake up to snow this morning. I mean, I needed to get a few more fall things, especially photo ops like pumpkin patches and stuff first. I'm glad that you like it though. I'm also glad that you guys got the bulk of it!:)

  4. Crazy snow, I am kinda likin' the warmer weather here in New Mexico. We are still at 75 for the days and 50's for the nights. I know I will miss the snow in December but for now I am glad we aren't trick or treating in it.

  5. OK, I don't feel so bad now! I just got done reading Lorelle's blog about how she's glad it's cooling down to 65 in the morning and 82 in the afternoon and feeling very jealous because we've been having 37 in the morning and 52 in the afternoon with lots of rain, but I feel great now that I see your SNOW! At least we NEVER get snow in OCTOBER! (Knock on Wood!)
