Yellowstone

Every year, Jared's family plans a camping trip to Island Park (a fun camping spot near Yellowstone). It mostly involves his Mom's extended family which is fun since we don't get a chance to visit with them a ton unless weddings are involved.

Emily and Tony stayed with their family in a cabin owned by Tony's grandparents that wasn't too far from us so we spent a day swimming by their cabin. The water wasn't too chilly so Annie was game.

Getting ready to show Daddy her new "jumping into the water" skills learned at swim class...

Daddy had to show her how to be brave and jump right in...

There was quite a bit of cheerleading going on here as Jared was treading water...

She went for a half jump the first time...

Here she is coming back for more...

The jump! Daddy was so proud!

 And so was she :)

I have never really been inside Yellowstone National Park so Jared and I took Annie up for the day to drive a loop.

Love how she's just relaxing on his head

Jared took about a million, literally a million pictures of Elk and Deer and Buffalo, I only chose a few to post since they all look the same to me anyway...

This was exciting, if you look to the left of this picture you'll see a buffalo with 2 other buffalo friends just moseying down the road. I felt bad for the line up behind them, it had to be about 50 cars long! Not to mention this motorcyclist who must had peed his pants when he looked in his rear view mirror!

This was within 1 foot of our car window. I was turned around trying to wake up Annie who had fallen into a DEEP sleep when Jared suddenly said, "Don't make any sudden moves"...right, like that makes me feel safe. These guys would look right at you as they walked by...eeks!

Looks like snow!

not quite sure what she's doing with her shirt here...

Awkward Asian that popped his head up right when Jared snapped this shot. Not to mention my super awkward 20 wk pregnant belly. We had just found out we were having a BOY!

Lots of baby elk with their Mamas getting a drink of water
