Due to some recent unfortunate events, I've had quite a bit more time on my hands. So with my spare time, I've decided to tackle some projects that I'd started and never finished. The first was this sewing machine cover.

Last year I decided I wanted to make my own sewing machine cover. With a specific design in mind and quite a bit of Jared's help, we figured out how much fabric I needed and what the measurements would be.

Here is the final result. Though it's slightly too big for the machine, I figure for being made from scratch and no real pattern, it's not too shabby ;). I'm quite satisfied with how it turned out and at least I don't have to stare at that plastic sad excuse for a sewing machine cover that came with the machine.

  2. This is so darling. I love it. My sewing machine needs a home where I can see it so I will actually use it. I'm so glad you're able to complete some projects that you've wanted to do. I wish I could say the same:)
