Christmas Traditions Part 4

This one's for you Kyle! These babies were by far (atleast as much as I could tell), my little brother's favorite Christmas treat. They're always a hit with anyone I've made them for and their super easy...what more could you ask for?

Honestly, I don't remember them having a name so we're going to call them Peanut Butter Ritz Blitz's....haha ok not that creative.

All you need to make these are a box of ritz crackers, a jar of peanut butter and some almond bark (can be found at the store near the baking aisle...they usually have it out on display during the holidays).

Sandwich peanut butter in between two ritz crackers, melt down the almond bark ( I use a double boiler for this), then roll the peanut butter cracker in the almond bark. I usually line a cookie sheet with wax paper and put the cookies on the cookie sheet and sprinkle them with some decorative holiday sprinkles. Then because I'm impatient, I put the cookie sheet in the freezer so the almond bark hardens faster ;) It makes a lot so enjoy! This picture was about 1/3 of the batch I made.

  1. Katie,

I saw your ornaments on Tip Junkie and saw you won Honorable Mention for your card! You're seriously my hero. Not just because you're so dang talented it makes me crazy, but because you actually submitted your ideas. It's my dream to have a layout published in a magazine. One day I'll have time to figure out how to scan them so I can submit them!
