So Jared and I don't have kids yet but we have the next best thing...GUPPIES. We have three little guppies, two striped ones and one orange and blue one. This morning as I was feeding them, one of the stripers decided to pull a Nemo and jumped right out of the tank. I didn't even know it was possible for such a small fish to gain enough momentum to launch itself out of the tank. I about had a panic attack! To make it worse, not only was I freaking out, so was the fish. Luckily, I got a hold of his wee little body and plopped him right back into the tank. I'm going to have to keep an eye on that one from now on!
We called this one Wee One II because we used to have two of them, but one didn't make it...
My dear, dear stripers...a bit adventurous I found out but very fun to watch.
Love the fish. You should try adding one of those African frogs, that just swim in water. We had one of those that lasted quite a while too. His name was Coqui. That's right, K named it after something on a Dora show! Gotta love pet names:)
ReplyDeleteI glad all turned out well. You wouldn't want your last memory of your little fish to be of him flipping and flopping on your counter top. Have you finished Breaking Dawn yet? Was it satisfying? I'm debating about when I should start it because I don't want to be dissapointed. P.S. I'm coming to Utah next week. Will you be around?
