Jared and I spent all yesterday painting doorjams so that hopefully, instead of brown, they would look white. We only managed to get two coats yesterday and it's still not very white but we're getting there. To avoid the fumes killing one too many brain cells we decided to campout on our deck for the night. We started with two foam pads and soon decided that wasn't enough. So Jared grabbed our mattress top and put it out on the deck. We covered it with about 5 quilts and then a down comforter and slept under the stars. I've never camped with such luxury!
What a great idea. We do several backyard campouts when it warms up. I'll be honest with you though, I don't care where I sleep, but I love being able to run in and use a real toilet!
